‘This residency at Cour des Loges is for me the opportunity to continue my work on silk. This work was initiated in Portugal in 2018, continued in India during an artist residency, then at Fort Superposition Lyon. My come back to Lyon allows me to reconnect with my personal history through research on the Canuts and the history of Lyonnaise silk.
For a month, Carine Figueras will be inspired by the aura that emerges from Cour des Loges, the indefinable emotion offered by each room, the light with multiple reflections evolving throughout the day as well as the secrets revealed this Beauty asleep with modesty to offer timeless work.
Come and enjoy the artist's work until August 3 and book your evening of Tuesday, July 27 for a vernissage in the presence of Carine Figueras and the entire Cour des Loges team.
